Testimonials

Where to begin....Elizabeth is a wonderful and compassionate person. We highly recommended her! She helped my boyfriend and me with our cat “Tigger” for many years. We had Elizabeth come to our home while we were on vacation to feed, give necessary medications, sit and play with him, and overall make sure Tigger was happy and loved while we were gone. I had no problem giving her the keys to my home for the week because I knew she was trustworthy and Tigger trusted her (he was a very finicky cat). Towards the end of Tigger’s life, he was very sickly, in and out of the vet’s office every few days and it was taking a toll on him. Elizabeth came over two-three times a day to help give Tigger fluids, medications, and showed us how to keep him comfortable through all of this. We are so grateful for all the help she had given us over the years with Tigger. I know Tigger loved her very much and would highly recommend her to care for your pet (although he would be jealous!)

Elizabeth is wonderful! I have had the pleasure of both working with her professionally and of having her sit for my pets (several of whom required medication). She is one of the most responsible, trustworthy people I know, and her skills with animals are unmatched. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Our 'Cat Sitter' is second to none. She is kind, thorough, and reliable. Liz has been caring for our 'SEVEN CATS' when we travel for work and for vacations. We feel so happy and content while away knowing that our cats are happy and very well taken care of. When we return home of course they missed us but they are all emotionally secure. Special food is prepared and needs to be taken out of the freezer and mixed with the normal food, fresh clean water and more crunchiness.. Everyday.. Liz must be accurate and consistent with administering medicine for three of our cats everyday, and two cats twice a day. This is no easy task, but is always taken seriously with Liz. The litter boxes must be cleaned at least every other day, if needed everyday. Liz takes pride in this and any accidents are readily cleaned up too! She cares about our cats as if they were her own. Also she knows all their names. Liz knows what she is doing, and we highly recommend her services. We have seen cat hotels that the cages are small, and you don't need your cat to feel abandoned and they get anxiety and sad too. They are better off in their own homes. Liz will do other needed jobs like bringing in your mail.. etc. My name for Liz is ' THE CAT WHISPERER' !!! Need I say more?

As an animal lover, it is important to have someone responsible, trustworthy, and caring to look after my “Miss Kitty”. Working full time and having an aging cat that needs medicine and fluids daily is difficult, but having someone you can depend on makes all the difference. Elizabeth from Vet Help At Home is amazing and her knowledge and patience is a desirable trait when looking for someone to come into your home and help you with your animal family.

I want to recommend Elizabeth as a stellar pet sitter. We have used her for over a year to pet sit our 11 cats, yes, that is 11. She is very meticulous about our three page instructions on when to feed, what to feed, how to feed and where to feed, medications, litter needs. Each cat is different and has different needs. We need a professional who knows each cat and each cats’ needs not someone who stops by and puts out food and cleans the box. Elizabeth is that person. She knows each cat by name, the toys they like, the bonds they have and don’t, where they might sleep/hide. We have some serious escape artists that have slipped by other sitters and have gotten out, now that ruins a vacation. Elizabeth recognizes the escape artists and is diligent about no escapees on her watch. She also is our do-it-all woman, she picks up the mail, checks the house, the lights, the heat, the ac. At the end of each day she will text us about the status of our family and give us peace of mind. We have relatively limited medication needs, but have worked with Elizabeth at our local shelter and worked with her on very ill cats that needed meds, she is a devoted caring compassionate Vet Tech. Most importantly, when we get home our place is full of calm, laid back cats, who do not seem to have missed us much thanks to Elizabeth.
